ABOUT VINA DEL MAR

Also called the ‘Garden City’, Vina del Mar is considered the tourist capital of Chile, due to its excellent location near the capital city. This magnificent seaside destination is 120 kilometres from Santiago. Its main tourist attractions include 13 superb beaches bathed by the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. The resort has sandy beaches and a pleasant spring-like climate all year round, and thousands of tourists flock here every year.

HOW TO GET THERE

Viña del Mar is a 75 minute drive from Santiago Airport, where all international flights arrive at; you can fly direct to Santiago from many major cities in Europe, USA and Latin America.

From the Airport to the Hotels

Viña del Mar is approximately 75 minutes from the main airport in Santiago. Please ensure that you have sufficient cash on-hand for taxi rides to and from the airport ($200USD each way). Taxis are available at the airport.

LAPT’s Vina del Mar event will be held at the Enjoy Casino & Resort from March 16th – 20th, 2011.
